Membership Categories

Full Member

Fund managers active in the field of Private Equity.

The Members have voting rights in the General Associates Meeting.

Associate Member

Organizations associated with the PE/VC sector and service providers such as law firms, investment banks, audit companies, analysis or consultancy firms, institutes or universities.

The Associate Members have no voting rights in the General Associates Meeting.

Limited Partner Member

Organizations that invest in Private Equity, such as institutional investors, DFIs, pension funds, family offices, banks, insurance companies.

The Limited Partner Members have no voting rights in the General Associates Meeting.

How To Become A Member

To become a ROPEA member, applicants are invited to email us at contact@ropea.ro, expressing their intention to join and attaching an informal recommendation from an existing ROPEA member along with a brief presentation of the company. Based on this initial information, the ROPEA Board of Directors reviews and grants preliminary approval. The process continues with the submission of the required documentation, followed by the final vote of approval during the General Assembly of the Association.

Once admitted, members gain access to ROPEA’s advocacy initiatives, professional development programs, research and networking opportunities.

Annual membership fees vary by category — Full Members (voting), Associate Members (non-voting), and Limited Partner Members (non-voting).
